3.    Learning Objectives SLO’s:At the end of session, the MBBS Phase I student should be able to:1. List out the reactions involved in the degradation of haem, mentioning enzymes and disorders associated with the deficiency of each2. List out the various types of Jaundice and the biochemical presentation in each type3. Students should be able to diagnose different types of jaundice in given case scenarios

5.    Structuring of Class (sequence of subtopics and timeline) a). Introduction to SLOs (5min)b). Small Group Discussion (15 min) about the topic covered in previous lecture c).Case based learning (CBL): Case scenarios will be presented (paper based case) to each sub-group followed by discussion on the case : 35 minutesd)   MCQs Test: MCQ based test( 15 MCQs)  at the end of session will be conducted: 10 minutese). Discussion on the MCQs- 10 minf) Feedback form to be filled by the students about CBL at the end (5-10 min)
